IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE YOU BUY:

You will get a FREE Vodafone SIM Card with this R-210 Dongle. This unit will work once you insert a Vodafone SIM card into but if you intend to use other networks, you will need to setup the APN for the network. Read details below for how to setup APN for other networks.  

Vodafone R210 is a new 4G Mobile Wi-Fi MiFi Hotspot broadband modem. The R210 is equipped with  Qualcomm MDM 9225 super-fast  processor which makes for quick and easy download and download. The ZTE R216 can support download speed up to 150Mbps and upload speed to 50mbps and has the ability to connect up to 10 devices connected simultaneously. 

The Mobile Wi-Fi R210 creates a personal portable secure Wi-Fi zone which allows several Wi-Fi enabled devices (for example PCs, Apple® iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, or mobile gaming devices such as Nintendo® Switch, Android devices including the Samsung products and Apple devices to share a secure mobile internet connection all at the same time. Use it in your vehicle to give your vehicle Wi-Fi access. This device can also be used in remote locations and areas with poor or no internet access.

How it works

With this new device you can set up your own secure Pocket Wi-Fi anywhere in your SIM card provider coverage with password protection. It's portable, wireless and battery powered, plus with one-touch setup you can share your broadband with up to 10 Wi-Fi devices quickly and easily. As long as your mobile phone, laptop, netbook or other device is Wi-Fi (802.11b and g) enabled, you will be able to connect to the internet through Pocket Wi-Fi.

HUAWEI VODAFONE R210 FAQ (FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS) 

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU BUY.

1. The R210 will not power up. How do I power it up?

Answer: The unit is powered on by pressing the power switch for around 10 seconds. Once it powers up, all the lights in the front panel should light up. The power button is the button on the far right from the SIM card slot.

2. The R210 will not recognise my SIM Card. Why?

Answer: This unit is unlocked and any SIM card will work with it. Please make sure that the SIM card you are using is active and that it is the big size SIM card and that it is inserted the correct way. If the SIM card is properly inserted and it is active, you should see the reception to be either Blue, Green or Orange colour. If it is Red colour, it means the unit is not recognising the SIM card. Make sure it is inserted the right way and that it is active. Once the reception light is Blue or Green or Orange, then the unit has recognised the SIM card. You can also check the status of the SIM card once you login to the admin page.

3. The R210 will now allow me go online even though I can connect to it by Wi-Fi. What do I do?

Answer:

This unit is unlocked and will work with any SIM card. Please note that if you intend to use other SIM card networks other than Vodafone with this dongle, you will need to set up the APN for the first time of use before it will connect to a 4G network and broadcast Wi-Fi. Please read the details of the advert on how to do it.

APN Settings

If you want to use other mobile networks other than Vodafone, you will need to setup the APN settings for the network. APN setup is a very easy process and we have made an easy to understand  step by Step video of how to set it up. See the video here on YouTube:

4. How do I charge the R210?

Answer: The unit will come with a Mini USB cable. You can charge the unit by connecting the USB cable to your PC and connecting it to the unit. Your PC should charge the unit. You can also use any Mini USB charger like that used by Samsung phones with Maximum of 5V (Volts) Once connected to charger, the unit battery light should light up red and turn green after a while when charging.
